ROTISSERIE KITCHEN 2ND ANNUAL FOOD FOR FAMILIES FUNDRAISER.

Hello and welcome back to the second annual Rotisserie Kitchen fundraiser where we purchase ingredients, cook, and give ready-to-heat meals to family’s in need around the Delta community.

We are the owners of Rotisserie Kitchen, and we are doing what we can to help our community. With our kitchen facility set up, we are able to make large quantities of foods in very short periods of time. We want to raise money again to 10 struggling families this holiday season.

We will be making these Turkey Dinner meals on/around December 17-18th and distributing them to family’s in need on the 19th. Last year, we raised $3500.00 and were able to coordinate with and feed 8 local families a beautiful turkey dinner with all the fixings, desserts, and extra groceries that we had over-purchased, including $145.00 gift cards to each family to Walmart for anything else they may need.

This year we would love to be able to take on more than 10 families in need, however we are a bit late to start this year and the organization that we work with does need ample time to contact the families on their registration database, ensure that they will accept this meal/gift and coordinate family numbers and pick ups etc. (Next year we do hope to start earlier and take on as many families as we can!).

ROTISSERIE KITCHEN PRESENTS

Here at Rotisserie Kitchen we strive to be so much more to our vendors than just a kitchen space to rent.

We are also here to foster creativity and growth through new connections and opportunities.

This August 30th 2025 will be our very first vendor showcase market. This years market is organized by Rotisserie Kitchen and free to our vendors in the hopes of having some fun and gathering our community together to discover and rediscover the overwhelming amount of talented entrepreneurs that use our space.

Your Local Market will be held from 10am - 4pm at the Ladner Baptist Church right along Ladner Trunk Road. We will be featuring over 20 food vendors that all make, package and prepare their products at our facility in Tilbury.

Parking will be around the back entrance along 47A Ave - there is a large church parking lot there.

BARNSIDE HARVEST FESTIVAL PRESENTS

This year Rotisserie Kitchen is a Sponsor of the 3rd annual Barnside Harvest Festival event that takes place in September at Paterson Park.

This music festival has been such a huge success and joy for the South Delta community and we have been fortunate enough to participate each and every year.

The first year we had a very small 10x10 tent selling baked goods and coffee. The second year we had a 20x20 tent with many of our vendors underneath. THIS year we have secured a 20x40 tent and we are excited to be bringing even more local vendors to the festival all under one roof.

What benefit do we bring to our vendors? We do all the set up and take down, we help with marketing, and we provide a more flexible rate to vendors who otherwise may not have been able to participate in an event like this. It’s excellent exposure to showcase their talents and products.

FRIDAY MARCH 20TH - Sourdough Bread Baking with Chef Adam Lockhart

This class is from 5pm - 8pm on Friday March 20th at Rotisserie Kitchen in Tilbury.

Do you love sourdough bread? Did you get to taste Chef Adam’s sourdough bread when he was baking at a small bakery in the Ladner Village? That was a couple of years ago, he has since taken on the new venture of opening and operating Rotisserie Kitchen commissary in Tilbury. Now that the commissary operations have become a bit more steady and slightly less time consuming - he is finally ready to start baking again and teach!

In this class Adam will be going over the basics of creating and feeding a sourdough starter, mixing a levain, mixing and folding your dough, proofing your dough, and finally your baking practices.

Adam’s sourdough is a naturally leavened bread with only three ingredients, flour, water and salt. Natural sourdough is much more easily digested due to the long fermentation time and minimal ingredients.

This class will incorporate a lot of “tv magic”. Because this bread is typically a three day process and we only have you for 3 hours; he will go over the steps on each day and have different stages of dough already ready for everyone to work on.

You will physically take home from this class:

  • 1 Fresh baked loaf

  • 1 Banaton Basket

  • 1 Bowl Scraper

  • 900g’s of ready to bake dough - to be baked on Saturday March 21st

  • 1 Levain - to make dough the following day (Saturday) and bake on the Sunday March 22nd

  • 2 five year old sourdough starters, 1 “white” starter and 1 rye starter.

  • 1 sheet with all recipes and baking instructions to best replicate Adam’s sourdough on your own at home

Because this class is during dinner time, we will be providing a sourdough themed charcuterie and other sourdough themed provisions. These tasty treats to snack on while you’re learning will make sure you leave with a full belly and serve as excellent inspiration for things to make at home once you’ve perfected your basic loaf skills.

TUESDAY MARCH 24th - Indian Style Chinese with Chef Gurjyote Sethi

This is a 3 hour hands on cooking class from 5pm - 8pm on Tuesday March 24th at Rotisserie Kitchen in Tilbury.

Chef Gurjyote is excited to take you through a fun filled classes where Chinese dishes meet Indian style cooking; a combination of rich culture, techniques and flavours.. The ability to blend flavours together is such an art within itself.

“It would be my pleasure to share my family recipes which I have adapted through my Grandmother and it has been a part of our family for more than four generations. I have also learned that the best way to spread love is through food, with the magic of tasty flavours”

Through this interactive session we will be cooking hands on family style meals that embrace the culture and succulent Indo-Chinese cuisine.

Manchow Soup: A flavourful Indo-Chinese soup made with vegetables, broth, and seasonings, with fried noodles.

Chilli Paneer: Garlic marinated deep fried Paneer with Green Pepper, Onion , Sweet, Chilli Gravy

Chicken Hot Garlic Sauce: Tangy , Garlic and pepper spiced sauce with Chicken

Vegetable Fried Rice: Butter Garlic Tossed Vegetable Fried Rice

Hakka Style Vegetable Noodles: Stir Fried Noodles with Seasonal Vegetables, Green Onions , Toasted Crushed Peanuts

Hello again, it’s us, RK finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Rotisserie Kitchen is very excited to finally be open. Our journey started with signing the lease back in 2021. Over a year and a half later, here we are, finally opening our doors to the public.

We are extremely excited to welcome you into “Your Local Space”
